How we collect, use, and protect your personal information across all Sarthi applications.

This Privacy Policy applies to all applications under the Sarthi platform developed and operated by A&A Innovation Labs Private Limited, including KaryaSarthi, KishanSarthi, LocalSarthi, MatasyaSarthi, and VyaparSarthi (collectively "the Apps" or "the Services").
1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide and improve our Services. The types of information we collect depend on the specific Sarthi application you use and how you interact with it.
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and profile photo when you register or sign in (including via Google Sign-In).
User Profile Data: Aadhar number (optional), bank account details (optional), IFSC code (optional), and role designation (farmer, merchant, contractor, field staff, etc.).
Transaction & Operational Data: Weight logs, produce quantities, product names, rates, deductions, and other trade/harvest records you enter into the app.
Communications: Messages or information you provide when contacting our support team.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
Usage Data: App features accessed, screens viewed, actions performed, timestamps, and session duration.
Location Data: Geographic location (with your permission) for location-aware features in certain apps. See Section 8 for details.
Crash Reports & Diagnostics: Error logs, performance data, and diagnostic information to help us improve the Apps.
Push Notification Tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens for delivering notifications.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
Google Sign-In: When you authenticate using Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture as provided by Google in accordance with their privacy policy.
Firebase Services: Analytics and performance data processed through Google Firebase infrastructure.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
Providing Services: To operate, maintain, and deliver the features of our Apps to you.
Account Management: To create and manage your account, verify your identity, and authenticate you.
Data Synchronization: To sync your locally stored data (weight logs, user records, etc.) with our cloud servers.
Communications: To send you transactional notifications, updates about the App, or support responses.
App Improvement: To analyse usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and improve the performance, stability, and features of our Apps.
Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and governmental requests in India.
Security: To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security risks, or technical issues.
Remote Configuration: To dynamically configure app behaviour via Firebase Remote Config (e.g., setting API endpoints per environment).
3. Information Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
3.1 Service Providers
We engage trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our Services. These include:
Google Firebase: For cloud infrastructure, authentication, push notifications, and remote configuration.
Google Sign-In: For OAuth-based authentication.
These providers are contractually required to keep your information confidential and use it only to perform services on our behalf.
3.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, court order, or governmental authority in India, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of A&A Innovation Labs, our users, or the public.
3.3 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify users of any such change via the App or this website.
3.4 With Your Consent
We may share your information with third parties when you give us explicit consent to do so.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure provided by Google Firebase, with servers located primarily in Asia (Mumbai region where applicable). We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include:
Encrypted data transmission using HTTPS/TLS protocols
Firebase Security Rules to restrict data access
Secure API authentication with bearer tokens
Role-based access control within the Apps
Local data encryption via Hive database (where applicable)
While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Your Rights & Choices
As a user in India, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access: You may request access to the personal information we hold about you.
Correction: You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data. Some data may be retained for legal compliance or legitimate business purposes.
Withdrawal of Consent: Where processing is based on consent (e.g., location access), you may withdraw consent at any time through your device's app permissions settings. Note that withdrawal may affect certain app features.
Opt-Out of Notifications: You may disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.

Account Deletion: To permanently delete your account and data, please contact us at aainnovlabs@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and your registered email or phone number.
6. Children's Privacy
Our Apps are not intended for children under the age of 13 years. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at aainnovlabs@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete such information.
Users between 13 and 18 years of age should use the Apps only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
7. Third-Party Services
Our Apps integrate with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
Google Sign-In (accounts.google.com) — OAuth authentication
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external services.
8. Location Data
Certain Sarthi applications (including KaryaSarthi) request access to your device's location. This permission is used for the following purposes:
Associating field activities or weight logs with geographic locations
Verifying on-ground presence of field staff
Providing location-aware services and routing
Location access is requested explicitly at runtime and you can deny or revoke this permission at any time through your device settings. Denying location permission may disable location-dependent features but will not affect the core functionality of the Apps.
We do not share precise location data with third parties except where necessary to deliver the Services (e.g., cloud storage on Firebase).
9. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide you with the Services. Specifically:
Account Data: Retained for the duration of your account and up to 90 days after account deletion.
Operational Records (weight logs, transaction records, etc.): Retained for up to 3 years for audit and compliance purposes, unless you request earlier deletion.
Crash Logs & Analytics: Retained for up to 24 months.
Local Cache Data: Stored on your device and controlled by the app's cache management features. You can purge local cache from within the app settings.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes, we will:
Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
Notify users through a prominent in-app notification or the next app update
For material changes, we may also send an email notification to your registered address
Your continued use of the Apps after any changes to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the Apps and may request account deletion.
11. Grievance Officer
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules thereunder, A&A Innovation Labs Private Limited has designated a Grievance Officer to address any privacy-related concerns:
